Cascade OC member Peteris Ledins has done some work with GPS tracking while orienteering. He writes:

Finally I put my and Eric's runs on net on my humble page:
http://www.ltn.lv/~ledins/maps.html?path=ledins_fire.xml
http://www.ltn.lv/~ledins/maps.html?path=eric_fire.xml
They can take some time to load - especially the second one as it has lots of points, but once it has loaded you are welcome to press on "Priest" button. The positioning of the map is not perfect on real coordinates, but you should be able to get the spirit of the long run after cp 6 and how far away from the mapped one it is. Which is interesting and useful to know. It is interesting to press on TerraSat/Satellite and TOPO buttons as well.

The course the Peteris and Eric Bone ran wasn't one of the WIOL courses, but the results are nonetheless interesting.
