Eric Bone (Garfield HS '92) will lead a training event at Hamlin Park, Sunday, February 3rd, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The training will be geared towards those competing at the JV and Varisty levels at the upcoming US Interscholastic Championship, but others are welcome to attend. The training will be free, but bring a lunch along with compass, etc..
Eric is the training coordinator for Cascade OC, and competed in the World Orienteering Championship last summer in Ukraine. After competing in WIOL, Eric went on to become the first person to win four US Intercollegiate Championships, the maximum possible. In addition to representing the US in several international events, Eric has served as USOF Vice President - Competition. Last fall he won the US Sprint Championship.
