WIOL Season
Home Page
Welcome to the WIOL 2011/2012 season! This site will have the latest WIOL results, rankings, and news as the season progresses. Check back after every meet…
Newcomers
If you want background about what WIOL is, or want to sign up for a meet or the season, visit the Introduction to WIOL page on the Cascade Orienteering webpage for training tips, registration form, and a new addition—the Orienteering Coach’s Handbook.
Returning orienteers
If you want to “up your game” this season, start coaching yourself and your teammates from the Orienteering Coach’s Handbook, which describes the skills needed for excellence at each level.
Hosting schools
The schools below have graciously offered to host meets near them, providing volunteers to help the WIOL portion of each meet go as smoothly as possible. Participant start times will be worked around this responsibility.

What to focus on right now
This is the part of the season when it’s essential to get the administrative tasks out of the way. Are all your registrations signed, paid, and delivered? Are you turning in participation numbers by the TUESDAY before the meet so we can sort and provide start times for everyone? Are you prepared to pick up your team’s bibs and e-punches at your first meet?
